Gravitational and pressurized multimedia filters
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
We recommend the use of HF-MMF multimedia filter devices for the removal of pollutants from water containing solid suspended matter. Pressurized filter devices with multi-layer filter media are suitable for use on their own or in combination with pre-treatment processes to retain contaminants of 25-50 µm in size. During the process, a counter-current washing operation based on a time program and/or pressure difference is used to remove the filtered contaminants. The devices are automatic, with a standard design consisting of a block or individual valves, and the filter columns are made of glass fiber reinforced polyester (FRG) with a polyethylene lining or surface-treated carbon steel. In the case of individual valve designs, the control and display of the equipment is provided by a Unitronics PLC unit.
